He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Florence; and his sisters, Florence Callahan, Eleanor Callahan and Mary Ellen Weiss.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Barbara Stewart, Jeffrey Krenrich, Christopher Callahan, Patricia Callahan and Kathleen Ferraro; his grandchildren, Sam, Lucy, Emily, Annie and Joey; and his sister Joan Hironimus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
