Danny Baker Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2025, at the age of 75, Danny Baker in Alamogordo, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Danny departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Danny may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Danny leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Baker and Catherine Elenore Baker. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Baker (Mona) of Mayhill, NM, Ima Jean Simmons of Clarksville, TN and H. Douglas Edwards Jr. (Debbie) of Las Vegas, NV; and his siblings' children, Lorie Hernandez (Santiago) of La Luz, NM, Susan Baker (Gary) of Mayhill, NM, Laremy Simmons (Jesika) of Oahu, HI and Cameron Simmons (Jordan) of Clovis. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mayhill Baptist Church (3510 US-82, Mayhill, NM 88339).
