With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eric H Metzler of Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away on December 3, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Lois M. Metzler (Bastian) and Clarence H. Metzler; and his son Meredith Gene Metzler. He is survived by : his wife Patricia Ann; his daughter-in-law Kelly M. Metzler (Riley); his grandsons, Riley Quinn Metzler and Kieran Jackson Metzler of Gaithersburg, MD.; his siblings, Alyson L. Baker (Jim) of Dent, MN, Todd E. Metzler (Regina) of Hart, MI and Mitzi F. Metzler of Iron Mountian, MI; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret R. Peggy Trescott of Lansing, MI, Vickie Z. (Gregory) of Pence Wheeling, IL and Robin F. Messing (Edward) of Sandusky, MI. He is also survived by numerous other family members, nieces and nephews.
Eric, as a 2-time survivor of cancer, requested in lieu of flowers donations be made to the cancer society.
