With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita J. Smith (Alamogordo, New Mexico), born in Janesville, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by : her brother Robert Smith of Oregon; and her children, James Hartsell, Jr. of Iowa, Jenise Edwards, Justine Totten of Oregon, Jenette Hartsell of Nevada, Joyce Hartsell of Iowa and Josephine Totten of New Mexico. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces and many friends.
