We announce the death of Lawrence Guy of Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away on October 5, 2026, at the age of 82. Lawrence will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Lawrence will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Lawrence will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Lawrence’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Guy and Minnie Guy. He is survived by: his children, Jenifer Aguilar (Andre), Erin Guy (Bradley Bennett) and Erik Guy; his granddaughters, Sofia and Stella; and his siblings, Don Guy and Carmen Lillich.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Alamogordo Funeral Home (2301 E 1st St, Alamogordo, NM 88310).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to support chronic kidney disease and diabetes research and patient care. Contributions may be made online to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
