She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Eva (Kohler) and Wilhelm Mayer; her husband Milton Duane Palmer; and her great grandchild Cy. She is survived by: her children, Kelly (Alexander) of Albuquerque, James (Cecilia) of Lake Arthur and Matthew (Julie) of Alamogordo; and her grandsons, Estevan Vargas, Daniel Owens, Kyle Owens, Joshua Palmer, Matthew Palmer and Brendan Palmer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Loretta's memory to Catholic Charities or St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
