It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Agnes Vigil-Torres of Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Mary departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Margarito Vigil and Manuelita Vigil; and her brothers, Alfredo Julian, Simon Rey and Gilbert Michael Vigil.
She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Vigil of El Paso, TX and LeRoy Vigil of San Antonio, TX; and her children, Emilio Torres of Alamogordo and Christina Torres of Goldendale, Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
