Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mildred Jayne Swann in Alamogordo, New Mexico, who passed away at the age of 81, on May 30, 2025. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mildred may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James Olshaskie and Mildred Jayne Olshaskie (Morgan); and her brother Robert "Doc" Olshaskie. She is survived by: her husband William L. Swann; her children, Sam (Brenda Swann) of Las Cruces, NM, Andy (Cathy Swann) of Tempe, AZ and Tristen Swann of Las Cruces, NM; her sister Bethel (Tim Williams); and her sister-in-law Cathy Olshaskie of Ruicoso Downs, NM. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Scenic Chapel (1334 N Scenic Dr, Alamogordo, NM 88310).
