Roy O'Brien Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy O'Brien (Alamogordo, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Simon O'Brien and Barbara O'Brien; his wire Flora O'Brien; his brother Gordo O'Brien; and his sister-in-law Teresa O'Brien.

He is survived by: his wife Flora Cox; his daughter Barbara Kay Montoya (John) of Alamogordo; his grandchildren, Amber Montoya (Jordan), Sean Montoya and Alteria Ray (Zachia); his great grandchildren, Zamira, Taniyah and AKeyshaun; his nieces, Cindy Dove, Debbie Dyson and Launa Gunderson; and his nephew David Khosavanna.

In place of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to plant a tree in Roy's memory.
