She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mattingly and Agnes Mattingly (Miles); her husband Robert Brent (Bob); and her siblings, CJ, Miles, Ann, Margaret, Betty, Mary Jane and Mary Agnes.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Brent Brown, Jr. (Carolyn), Dennis Brown (Terry), Larry Brown (Valerie), Douglas Brown (Tracy), Gwen Henderson (Jack) and Nancy O'Neil; and her siblings, Joan Raley and Joseph Mattingly. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
