With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Verna Fladhammer of Alamogordo, New Mexico, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Woodward and Annie Woodward (Willenberg); her daughter Tammy Elaine Fladhammer; her grandson Ryan James Fladhammer; her sister Judith "Judy" Paggi (Willenberg); and her brother-in-law William "Bill" Paggi.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Fladhammer; her children, Doyle Fladhammer (Diane), Daniel Fladhammer (Susan) and Samantha Adducchio (Benjamin); her grandchildren, Melissa Nolte (Luke), Alexandria Fladhammer (Jesse Nielsen), Eric Fladhammer, Brent Fladhammer, Allison Fladhammer, Abigail Adducchio, Emiliana Adducchio, Pasquale Adducchio and Olivia Adducchio; and her great grandchildren, Gwendolyn Nolte and Graeme Nolte. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial contributions to causes close to Verna's heart, including support for military families, literacy, sewing education, or quilting bees.
