It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Salyer (Alamogordo, New Mexico), who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clay Salyer; his stepfather Allan Striegler; and his former wife Shirley Gail Barron. He is survived by: his wife Lori Jeanne Sellers; his children, Aleisha Jennes and Jordan Salyer (Ashley); his grandchildren, Alchemy and Grayson; his stepson Paul Sellers; his stepgrandson Derrick Sellers; his mother Merrill Strielger; his brother Eddie Salyer (Michelle); his nephew Patrick; his sister Chris Fine (Ricky); his nibling Shayla (Neil); and his sister Autumn Salyer.
