For Alan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Wilma Heston. He is survived by: his wife Bettina Aten; his children, Alex and Laura; Dr. Leonard Heston. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
