He was predeceased by: his wives, Marlene and Doris Rockhill; his sister Faye Ursillo; and his granddaughter Jennifer Childs. He is survived by: his sister Carol Bishop; his stepdaughter Patty Zajak; his grandchildren, Alexis Reeder, Max Platt, Valerie Belanger, Jeremy Platt, Allan De Laurell, Debbie De Laurell, Sean Petersen, Nick Childs, Paige Jones and Hillel Petersen (Tate); and his great grandchildren, Wolff Reeder, Wilder Reeder, Wisdom De Laurell, Magdalena De Laurell, Makenzie Peterson, Kaya Petersen, Noemi Peterson, Hana Peterson, Leah Petersen, Piper Jone, Logan Jones, Brody Jones and Blair Jones. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory - Reflections Chapel (2400 Washington St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110). A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:15 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
