He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Ambrosio Ramirez (Josephine Lopez Ramirez) and Albuquerque; his wife Catherine VanDamme Ramirez; his son Thomas; his grandson Jonathan; and his great grandchild Isabel.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Ramirez (Jane Ramirez), Kathleen Ramirez, JoAnn Montoya (John Montoya) and Collette Archuleta (Gary Archuleta); and his brother Larry Ramirez. He is also survived by eleven grand children, twenty two great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (4020 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110). A rosary was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102).
