She was predeceased by: her husband George. She is survived by: her children, Diether Remeikis (Jennifer), Elke Remeikis-Hanna (Michael) and Erika Zahnle (Paul); her grandchildren, Jillian, Kelsey, Kirk Remeikis (Samantha), Karl and Nina Zahnle; and her siblings, Guenter and Marlis. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
