He was predeceased by : his nephew Vicente Arvizo; and his parents-in-law, Roger L. Padilla and Irene Padilla. He is survived by : his wife Denise Armendarez; his mother Juana Armendarez Reyes (Oscar Arvizo); his siblings, Oscar Arvizo, Jesse (Saira Arvizo), Becky Armendarez (Gustavo Flores) and Lupe (Libe Robledo); and his children, Amalia Armendarez Barber (Kamren Barber) and Guillermo Armendarez. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Life® Chapel (2400 Washington St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
