Though Carlos may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carlos touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother Irvin Perez; and his grandmothers, Maria and Sophia Castillo. He is survived by: his parents, Felipe Castillo and Martha Perez; his sibling Ximena Perez; and his sibling's child Cenith Gonzalez.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Garcia Mortuary (717 Stover Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Jose Parish (2401 Broadway Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87102). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102).
