It is with sadness that the passing of Celestino Daniel Abeyta of Albuquerque, New Mexico is shared. Celestino, born in Coolidge, Arizona, passed away on September 9, 2026. Celestino will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Abeyta and Frances Abeyta; and his siblings, Alejandro and Juanita. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Knight (Randy Sedillos), Desiderio Abeyta, Ricardo Abeyta (Brenda) and Jesus Abeyta (Valerie); and his sisters, Dolores, Louisa and Margaret. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gabaldon Mortuary (1000 Old Coors Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel (1000 Old Coors Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121). A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
