Consuelo Rivera Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Consuelo Rivera of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Consuelo is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Consuelo's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her significant other Alejandro "Alex" Rivera; her parents, Jaime Garcia and Petrita Garcia; her in-laws, Pablito and Josefina Rivera; and her sister Bonnie Chacon.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Frances Candelaria (Antonio Lucero) and Alejandro "Henry" Rivera Jr.; her grandchildren, N. Daniel Candelaria and Bonnie Candelaria (Sara Nannemann); her brother Toby Garcia (Della); her sister-in-law Josie Rivera; and her great grandchildren, Tyler and Aaliyah "Gracie" Lujan.
