With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Virginia Oberling of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on July 25, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Darlene had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Darlene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vince Oberling; her parents, Wilbur Aden and Adele Aden; her sister Janice Houston; and her granddaughter Dulce Maria Oberling.
She is survived by: her children, Wes Oberling (Cindy) and Sandy Jameson (Dan); and her brother Jim Aden (Ruth) of Chicago, Illinois. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Darlene requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association Chapter 698 or Trinity Lutheran Church.
