He was predeceased by: his mother Librada; his sister Viola Trujillo; and his goddaughter Francine Vigil. He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his stepchildren, Sahara Barraza and Manuel Barraza; his father Fernando Pacheco; his siblings, Margaret Griego, Juanita, Lovato, Alice Chavez, Gilbert Pacheco (Monica), James Pacheco (Diana) and Bernadette Martinez (Paul); and his godson Paul Pickerel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church (5415 Fortuna Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
