He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayna Helen Rivera and Alfonso Jose Rivera of Santa Fe. He is survived by: his children, Joshua P. Rivera, Mayna A. Rivera and Mackenzie W. Rivera; and his siblings, Charlene Rivera (Charles Stansfield) of Rockville, MD, Mary Anne Mireles of San Antonio, TX, Michael Rivera of Whistler, BC and Chris Rivera (Sally Halela) of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In honor of Phil, donations may be made to the Adaptive Sports Program of New Mexico in support of handicap mountain sports.
