She was predeceased by: her parents, James Escar Burton and Blanche Bob Christesson; her brother Billie Burton; and her brother-in-law Bernie Snipes. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Bertie Snipes Lindsey (Ken) of Clovis, NM and Yvonne Mercadante of Clovis, NM; and her sisters, Emmie Love (Mason) and Faye McWilliams (Vernon).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
