She is survived by : her children, Raymond Apodaca, Della Bazan (George), Stella Padilla, Patsy Johnson (Cliff), Helen Mosley, Yolanda Apodaca, Julio Apodaca, Richard Mares, Michelle Garcia, Jessica Mares, Frances Lucas (Mike), Hilda Munoz and Suzie Gates; her daughter-in-law Angel Mares; her siblings, Gustavo Garcia (Theresa), Gene Garcia, Mary A. Irish and Lupita Garcia; and her grandchildren, Oracio Mares Jr., Julio G. Apodaca Jr., Joseph Garcia and Damian Marquez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Strong-Thorne Mortuary (1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106).
