He was predeceased by: his parents, Esquipula Sr. Vigil and Faustina Vigil; and his sister Julia. He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Sergio Vigil (Martha) and Cristina Neufeld; his grandchildren, Dacio, Josiah and Noah; and his siblings, Delia Addy and Anastacio Vigil. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel (1000 Old Coors Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery (924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107).
