He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Lucero and Rose Lucero; his granddaughters, Raquel Lucero and Felica Garza; his brothers, Pete Lucero and Daniel "Boy" Lucero; and his nephew Gary Lucero.
He is survived by: his children, Geno Lucero (Valerie), Eric Lucero, Jessica Lucero (Johnnie Duran), Christopher Lucero and Alma Tapia (Marvin); and his niece Patricia Lucero.
