It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Connelly (Albuquerque, New Mexico), who passed away on March 18, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Genevieve Betancourt and Martin Betancourt; and her sister Ruth "Cuca" Borunda. She is survived by: her husband Richard Connelly; and her children, Carol Salazar (Jim), Anthony Sias (Sally) and Laverne "Liv" Vastano (Mike). She is also survived by six grandchildren and their partners; five great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of siblings, nieces, nephews.
