She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacio Gutierrez and Margaret Gutierrez; her siblings, Flora Garcia (Orie) and Orlando Gutierrez (Dolores); and her son-in-law Jeff Elks.
She is survived by: her husband Elfego "Jay" Aranda, Jr.; her daughters, Beverly Elks, Jayne Aranda and Belinda Snyder (Chris); and her grandchildren, Ray Elks (Rosette), Sean Elks (Whitney), Alysea Aranda Lightle (Adam), Noelle Padilla (Andrew Higgins) and Alyssa Cameron (Bret). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
