With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fermin Gonzales Jr. of Albuquerque, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fermin Gonzales and Rosalia Gonzales; and his grandsons, Estevan Montoya and Josiah Serna. He is survived by: his children, Michael, Herman, Evelyn (Steve Serna), Lori (Tim Garcia) and Lara; his grandchildren, Saraya, Jimmy (Nicole), Justine, Nikki, Russell, Brandon (Hailey) and Uriah; and his great grandchildren, Angelica, Lilly, Sophia, Asher, Oliver, Gerald, August, Azalea and Oakley. He is also survived by 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Direct Funeral Services (2919 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Albuquerque Bible Church (320 Montaño Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the La Madera Cemetery.
