He is survived by: his children, Kylie Ortega and Nicholas Ortega; his parents, Belen Ortega and Francisco Ortega; his sisters, Francine Sedillo (Michael) and Rosalie Hipple (Brian); and his nieces and nephews, Gabriel Sedillo, Rachel Hipple, Melissa Hipple, Isaac Montoya and Avina Pohl.
