He was predeceased by: his father Fred; and his brother David Montez. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Montez; his mother Lia Montez; his siblings, Carmela Montez and James Montez; his niece Kayla Montez-Villescas (Angelica); his godson Phillip Contreras; his cousins, Peter, Paul Tapia and Ida Martinez; his siblings-in-law, Stephanie "Kid" Florez (Mario Perez) and Rolando Florez (Michelle Sanchez); his niece Danica Florez; and his godchildren, Amanda and Spencer Towler. He is also survived by his fur baby, "Flossie"; several aunts, uncles, cousins.
