He is survived by: his wife Theresa Maes; his children, Gilbert Maes Jr. (Valerie) and Bernadette Saiz (Salvador); his grandchildren, Cassandra, Michael, Jacob and Alyssa; and his siblings, Stella Romero, Richard Maes, Frank Maes (Debbie), Jimmy Maes (Kathy), Bill Maes (Adrie) and Charles Maes (Debbie).
