As we bid Henry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Henry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Lucero Chavez and Alfred S. Chavez, Sr.; and his sister Christina T. Chavez Bayless. He is survived by: his son Marcos Chavez; his grandsons, Marcos Jacobo Chavez and Mikko Monroe Chavez; and his siblings, Carmela Bernadette Chavez of Albuquerque, Juanita Chavez Baca of Albuquerque, Alfred S. Chavez, Jr., Jose Evaristo Chavez "Tito" of Las Vegas, N. M., Santiago R. Chavez "Jaime" of Taos and Frank X. Chavez "Kiko" of Plano. He is also survived by numerous first cousins, nieces, and nephews.
