With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilario Chavez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who passed away on April 16, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Raphael Chavez and Rosalia Chavez. He is survived by : his wife Veronica Chavez; his children, James Chavez, Brigette Olivas, John Chavez (Carlotta) and Theresa Galvan (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Madeline, Jared, Tiffany, Melissa, Nicholas, Dominic, Nathan, Angelica and Dimitri; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Brielle, Jude, Mila and Nico.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gabaldon Mortuary (1000 Old Coors Dr SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the San Martin de Porres Catholic Church (8321 Camino San Martin SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121). A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery (2157 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105).
