She was predeceased by: her mother Emily Christenson; her husband Hal Zabel; her daughter Dorothy Wilson; her brother Charles; and her sister-in-law Theresa Christenson.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Christa (David Allan) and Shelly Wilson (Leanne Adell).
Irene's wishes were to plant a tree in lieu of flowers.
