Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Isabelle Ogaz Tellez (Albuquerque, New Mexico), who passed away at the age of 99, on August 3, 2024. Though Isabelle Ogaz may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Isabelle Ogaz touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Tellez. She is survived by: her children, Inez Tellez, Celia Tellez (Campbell White), Monica Tellez and Carlos Tellez (Stephenie); her grandsons, Stephen (Elyssa), Nicolas and Nathaniel; and her great grandchild Wells.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the UNM Foundation and the Endowments that Isabelle helped create and/or The Hispanic Education Foundation of the American G.I. Forum.
