He was predeceased by: his wife Irma Benavides; and his sister Alice Gallegos. He is survived by: his children, Julian Benavides (Carisa Lee) and Priscilla Benavides; and his brothers, Richard Benavides, Ted Benavides, Jerry Benavides and Johnny Benavides. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
