Juan Jose Romero Obituary

We announce the death of Juan Jose Romero (Albuquerque, New Mexico), born in Clovis, New Mexico, who passed away on October 31, 2026, at the age of 93. Juan will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Maria Romero; his children, Pat, Ricky, Manuel and Elizabeth; his grandson Roman; his great grandchild Angelica; and his parents, Ramon and Maggie.

He is survived by: his brother Raymond (Margie); his children, Johnny Joe (Carolyn), Johanna, Karen, Margie (Pablo), Karla, Tessie (Robert) and Little Ray (Brenda); and his son-in-law Joe Garcia Sr.. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, and countless nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (811 Guaymas Pl NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Beginings Church of God.
