She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Rusk and Ann Wiley; her niece Miranda Chavez; and her nephew Marcus Rusk. She is survived by: her children, Jenni Rusk (Kate) and Jakob Bacoccini; her boyfriend Jeremy Bacoccini; her siblings, Wayne Rusk and Karen Chavez; her brother-in-law Mario Chavez; her sister Polly Rusk; her nephew Sean; and her nieces, Cassidy, Grace and Jessie.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Kate's memory to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (phassociation.org), to support research and resources for those affected by pulmonary arterial hypertension.
