He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Porfirio and Corina Sandoval; his uncles, Daniel Sandoval and Gerald Cuellar; his aunt Geraldine McGuinness; his grandmother Josephine Dominguez; and his niece Shyanne Sandoval.
He is survived by: his wife Christina Sandoval; his children, Leo Sandoval III (Melanie), Laveya Sandoval (Ediel), Kaydence Sandoval, Giovanni Sandoval, Osiris Sandoval and Chance Sandoval; his granddaughter Elizeth Paredes; his parents, Jeannette Sandoval, and Leo Sandoval, Sr.; his grandfather Tony Cuellar; his siblings, Gabriel Sandoval (Jeanette), Melissa Sandoval (Miguel) and Tina Sandoval (Joseph); and his close friend Amber Salazar. He is also survived by 11 nieces, six nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory - Salazar Mortuary (400 3rd St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery (2957 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87121).
