She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilberto Chavez and Genevive Chavez; her brother Tommy; and her daughters, Yolanda and Deborah (Sam).

She is survived by: her brothers, Orlando Chavez (Barbara Chavez) and Jerry Chavez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
