He was predeceased by: his father Manuel Aguilar; his wife Lore; his siblings, Aurora Gibson and Joseph Aguilar; and his grandson Steve Fuentes.
He is survived by: his children, Helen (Tom Fuentes), Elizabeth, Felix, Mark (Maryann), Manuel (Bernadette), Michael, Eugene (Christine), Raymond, Jonathan (Shirley), Max (Leonard Bechtel) and Leonard (Leanna Montano). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Ursday Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (9502 4th St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102).
