Margaret Schwaner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 88, Margaret Schwaner of Albuquerque, New Mexico, born in Hartford City, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband C. Frederick Schwaner; and her daughter Suzanne Durnford. She is survived by: her sons, Eric (Shari), Mark (Melanie), Jeff (Marie), Brian (Debbie) and Brad (Jill); her son-in-law John Durnford; and her sister MaryNell Schmuck (Fred). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (12500 Carmel Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122). A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109).
