She was predeceased by: her parents, Florencio Mendez and Aniceta Roacho (Ernesto Morales); her sisters, Antonia Mendez, Emilia Mendez, Soccoro Mendez and Isidra Mendez; and her daughters, Cristina Morales and Natalia Morales.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Morales (Andrea Pro), Gabino Morales, Daniel Lopez, Jesus Morales (Maria Luisa Morales), Ramon Morales, Victoria Mendez (Antonio Armendariz), Ofelia Chavez (Samuel Chavez), Adela Morales, Maria Luisa Villalobos (Elias Villalobos), Maricela Olivas (Jose A. Olivas), Isadora Morales and Maria Elena Morales (Jesus Torres); and her siblings, Florencio Mendez, Luis Mendez, Manueal Mendez, Joaquin Mendez, Jesus Mendez, Guadalupe Mendez and Julia Mendez. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren.
