She was predeceased by: her husband Juan M. Nava; her parents, Juan Bautista Mares and Maria Nicomedes Padilla; and her granddaughter Estrella Candelaria. She is survived by: her daughters, Josefa Candelaria (Ambrosio) and Loretta Sanchez; her siblings, Rita Mares and Toby Coca; and her grandchildren, Nico Candelaria, Jasinta Sanchez and Javiar Sanchez (Cortney). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
