She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Joe Roybal; her parents, Carlos Ortega and Mary Ortega; and her sisters, Linda Pena and Celena Martinez.
She is survived by: her daughter Trina RR Avritt; her son-in-law Gabriel Avritt; her granddaughter Alycia Hernandez; her grandson-in-law Luis Hernandes; her great-niece Ariel Martinez-Sias; her great grandchildren, Joaquin and Benito Hernandez; and her siblings, Jean Salazar, Anna Wiggins (Jim Wiggins) and Henry Ortega (Grace Ortega). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
