She was predeceased by: her parents, Onofre Ortiz and Guadalupe V. Ortiz; her husband Gilbert W. Garcia; and her siblings, Emma Ortiz, Flora Roybal, Silverio "Shorty" Ortiz, Manuel V. Ortiz, Celina Sanchez, Rose Balogh, Placido Ortiz, Leopoldo Ortiz, Stella Ortiz, Miquela Smith, Rita Sosa, Lula Feldhake, Onofre Ortiz, Jr., Alfredo Ortiz, Martha Brads and Elizabeth Sanchez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Quintana (John), Maria Bustamante (Gerald) and Paula Garcia Gurule (Joe); and her grandchildren, Jacob, Paul Quintana, Matthew and Ava Bustamante. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
