She was predeceased by: her parents, Wanda Inez "Totsy" Shipp and William Henry Hastings. She is survived by: her sister Colleen Newman; her daughter Ani Cortes; her granddaughter Daisy Cortes; and her great grandchild Nettle Dan Hilchey-Cortes.
