She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis J. Colgan and Genevieve M. Colgan; her brother Kevin J. Colgan; her sister-in-law Martha Colgan; and her spouse Freddie Benally.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katie Benally (Jose Reynoso) of Las Vegas, NV, Meghan Benally (Brian Juan) of Albuquerque, NM and Mary Benally of Brooklyn, NY; her grandson Niko Reynoso of Las Vegas, NV.; her nieces, Sarah Colgan of Somerville, MA and Siobhan Colgan of Carrboro, NC; and her nephew Matthew Colgan of Greene, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (98 2nd St, Deposit, NY 13754). A burial was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Peter's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
